On September 28, 2019 Katie and Colin were both at a Chris Young concert at Rock Row in Westbrook. Colin was there celebrating a 21st birthday of a friend of his, and Katie was there with friends. 

Colin was ahead of Katie in the beer line and noticed her over his shoulder. He went through his list of pick up lines in his head but couldn't find the courage to make that move. 

Later, his friends found her and he had no choice but to talk to her at this point. They didn't listen to any of the concert after that, they took they time to talk and get to know one another. 

Two days later they met at Portland Head Light for their first date!

Colin proposed on September 12 at Portland headlight where they had their first date.  They are getting married on May 18, 2024 at the York Golf and Tennis Club where they will be surrounded ny family and friends.
